Ifølgje byrået blir det no selt ei Nesbø-bok kvart 27. sekund i UK.

A NESBO BOOK IS SOLD IN THE UK EVERY 27 SECONDS

The Random House Group UK is delighted to announce that Jo Nesbo is the second bestselling fiction in the author in the UK (hot on the heels of Century author James Patterson, and beating fellow Scandinavian Stieg Larsson).

With Neilsen Bookscan figures of 716,588 copies sold in 2011, someone in the UK buys a Nesbo bookevery 27 seconds (assuming bookshops are open 24 hours a day!).

Jo Nesbo will visit the UK next week to promote the paperback of his latest Harry Hole crime novel, The Leopard (currently #10 on the bestseller list), and the new standalone thriller, Headhunters, published 1st September. He will appear at the Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Square, in conjunction with Waterstone’s on Tuesday 23rd August, and his Edinburgh Book Festival event on Wednesday 24th August sold out within 24 hours of tickets going on sale. The film adaptation of Headhunters will be released in the UK by Momentum Pictures in spring 2012.
